SERVICE MANAGER

 

We're hiring a Service Manager for our Children’s or Futures residential bungalows. You'll implement OFSTED and CQC standards, oversee the operational delivery team, and manage systems and resources to ensure high-quality service and regulatory compliance. LOCATION: onsite, BN8 4EF

SALARY: £44,000 - £50,000 per annum

HOURS: Full time, 5 days a week

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Children’s or Futures residential bungalows, ensuring that care services meet all required standards set by OFSTED.
  • Act as the Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead for designated bungalows, ensuring the highest standards of safety, well-being, and care for children and young people.
  • Lead and manage the operational delivery team, providing clear direction, supervision, and professional development to ensure high performance and excellent care.
  • Manage and optimise operational systems, resources, and staff to maintain compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of care plans and safeguarding protocols, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the individual needs of children and young people.

 

What you bring to the table:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in managing residential services, ideally within children or specialist care settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of OFSTED and standards for residential care.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Experience in acting as a Registered Manager and/or Safeguarding Lead is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to balance operational needs and regulatory compliance.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (Level 5 or equivalent).
