At Chailey Heritage Foundation, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs. As an experienced Rota/Shift Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our services run seamlessly by effectively managing staff resources, rotas, and compliance.
LOCATION: Onsite, BN8 4EF
SALARY: £29,000- £34,000
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm (4.30pm finish on a Friday)
What You’ll Do:
Plan and Coordinate Rotas: Develop and manage shift rotas, ensuring sufficient coverage while accommodating absences and changing service needs.
Resourcing: Liaise with agency and bank colleagues, ensuring they are trained, compliant, and ready to support our teams.
Compliance and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training, attendance, and certifications, ensuring alignment with CQC and Ofsted standards.
Support Recruitment: Assist in the hiring and onboarding of colleagues, maintaining a robust resourcing plan.

What We’re Looking For:
Rota management experience is essential.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in scheduling and resourcing.
A proactive approach to solving challenges, with an understanding of the fast-paced nature of social care.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues, managers and external agencies.
Knowledge of CQC and Ofsted compliance is advantageous.
